For my first water sport experience I chose kite surfing. Nobody mentioned the difficulties and the exercises in patience that come along with it, and it could have turned out to be one big frustration trip for someone as impatient as me if it had not been for David. He managed to give guidance, knowledge, comfort and support in just the right amount and at the right time. He made a huge effort to take us to the windiest spots on the island instead of waiting for wind, even if that meant driving 40 minutes to a remote shore. More than a teacher, David turned these three days into an unforgettable experience on Hainan Island. Honest, fun, knows his way around, speaks fluent Chinese. David, I'll be back soon!Guannan Li · Shanghai
Probably the best three days spent on a beach anywhere in the world. Yes, I'm looking at you, Bali. Day 1: understanding kite behaviour. Day 2: being dragged out and in through the water. Day 3: body dragging, a bigger kite, getting lift-off, and at the end of the day the board. Kite-surfing is a tough nut to crack, but if you're keen to crack it, David's your man in China.Lenny · Shanghai
I had already taken a kite class in Malaysia and Indonesia before I found kitesurfchina.com, and was surprised by my lack of safety knowledge. David is really into detail when it comes to safety, and he gave me a lot of space to get experience on the water while always being close by. He also provided the latest high-quality equipment. I highly recommend this kite school.Sebastian · Shanghai
Kitesurf China is a very enthusiastic company with a great passion for the sport. They give you a lot of personal attention, which matters: not only do you learn better, it is safer with a good instructor by your side. An introductory course with Kitesurf China is the best choice you can make.Dennis · Shanghai
David and Sebastian were amazing at transforming kite boarding from an intimidating challenge into an exhilarating accomplishment. We moved through all of the skills slowly and thoroughly until total comfort was achieved. We would highly recommend them for individuals at any level.Kieron & Danielle
I had never put my feet on a kitesurf board before. I chose this school for the location and the chance of wind in a tropical setting. No regrets at all! Even in Golden Week the spot was peaceful, with beautiful seaside and good wind. David is a very good, patient teacher, and I was standing on the board in the first two days. I had the feeling of being part of a family at Kitesurf China. I will come back as soon as work allows!Antoine · Shanghai
